Raquel Nelson was sentenced to 12 months of probation and 40 hours of community service. Prosecutors stated that it was never their intent to ask for jail time. The judge even gave Ms. Nelson the option of having a new trial so that she might not have to have their convictions on her record. She has reportedly said she will think about it but is happy to be able to go home today.
About Sweet Nothings
I went to college and majored and Mass Communications/Public Relations but decided to take my passion for promoting others to law school....where i could then learn to promote MYSELF! Kidding. Kind of. Now I'm a lawyer. 8 years later, big whoop and womp womp.
